Nanzhila Lake Camp opened it's doors to it's first guests on 7th November. The camp is located in a very private and prime game viewing area of the Southern Kafue overlooking the Musa River and Lake Itezhi-tezhi shoreline. The camp is drivable distance from both Lusaka and Livingstone, 5.5 hours and between 4.5 and 5.5 hours respectively.
The main focus of the camp is the wildlife and the views. The activities are game drives, bush walks and visits to the elephant orphanage. Most of the activities will be done around the lake where guests can soak in the serenity of the lake shorelines and the floodplains.
The camp is very intimate with a maximum capacity of 6 people in 3 tents. There are no family tents and no children under 12 are accepted. The owner run camp gives guests warm hospitality and the Smith Family pays attention to detail making it a perfect choice for experienced safari goers and first time visitors alike. One of the key highlights is that the camp is open all year round! It is a wonderful option for emerald season safari visits.
