The 128,000-hectare private Sapi Concession was awarded to Great Plains Conservation to manage and look after in 2016 and was immediately converted to a private photographic reserve. This amazing wildlife sanctuary, along with the neighbouring Mana Pools National Park, now comprises over 337,000 hectares of prime protected wilderness.
Sapi Explorers Camp offers a base to explore the Sapi Reserve, Mana Pools and the Zambezi River, an intimate and exclusive camp, with only 5 Explorers-style tents. The camp offers a safari experience reminiscent of the old African explorers, the perfect combination of romance, adventure and discovery.
Located in the Sapi Reserve bordering Mana Pools National Park. Seat in charter flights are available into Sapi Airstrip from Harare, Victoria Falls and other parks in Zimbabwe. Transfer time from Sapi Airstrip to camp is approximately forty five minutes to an hour's drive.

Either twin or double bed configuration with mosquito nets
En-suite bathroom with a shower, flush loo, and a basin
The Family Tent consists of 2 large canvas tents with common outdoor sitting area
Tented safari main area which includes a lounge and dining area
Charging facilities in the main area, with USB charging opportunities on the wildlife viewing
Meals are done in a variety of locations in and out of the camp
Early morning and late afternoon game viewing in a open 4×4 wildlife-viewing vehicle, guided walks, canoeing and boating
Children aged 8 years and older are welcome
There is a dedicated 2-bedroom family tent available at this camp
