Time + Tide Kakuli

South Luangwa

Perched high above the Luangwa River, Time + Tide Kakuli offers impressive vistas of the river's many visitors below. Designed to celebrate the panoramic setting, the rooms have a long, low profile and a bright, airy feel.

Freshly redesigned in 2018, the rooms offer comfort in all seasons by incorporating features such as a covered open-air lounge and indoor and outdoor showers.

Right from your room, you can listen to the bellowing hippos, see bee-eaters perform their aerial acrobatics and watch elephants and giraffes wandering down to the river.

Kakuli means old Bull and was the nickname the local people gave to Norman Carr.
