Location
Nanzhila Plains Safari Camp is situated in the remote southern section of the Kafue National Park, on the edge of a large Dambo (seasonal floodplain) amongst Jackelberry and Sausage trees. The camp is accessible via road from Livingstone via Kalomo and Dundumwezi Gate OR from Lusaka via Itezhi-Tezhi and Musa Gate. Clients can either self drive or road transfers with a driver can be organised. For clients who are looking to fly-in, the lodge utilises Ngoma air-strip that is serviced by a number of air charter companies based in Lusaka and Livingstone. From Ngoma it is approximately a 90 minute game drive to the Plains Camp.
Information
Nanzhila Plains Camp has 6 rooms - 3 chalets and 3 safari tents. Each can accommodate two guests and are situated along the tree line with beautiful views of the dambo and the gauzed windows allow all the wonderful sounds of the African night.
